How can we stay sane?

We try to bridge every idle minute with distractions from our smartphones. Numbing our perception with the click of a button we unlearn to be bored. And yet boredom, withdrawal from external stimulation, is vital for our mental health.

This room brings boredom back into our lives. It invites you to overcome the initial discomfort of emptiness and enjoy the loss of time.

Process

To get people to bore themselves during an exhibition full of sensations, it was necessary to eliminate every kind of distraction. As a result the approach was to isolate the User in a chamber for a short period of time
